Is there downtime during the migration?
There is no downtime during migrations with VaultMe for Admins. Both the source Google Workspace and the destination Microsoft 365 accounts remain fully functional throughout the process.
While the migration is running, users may experience slower performance in either environment. This temporary slowdown occurs because both platforms are actively processing a large number of API requests and operations. Performance returns to normal automatically once the migration is complete.

Can users continue working in their accounts?
Users can continue working with their accounts. However, excessive activity may slow down the migration because users will compete for API resources with VaultMe for Admins. Changes may also extend the migration time.
It is therefore recommended to avoid doing the following during the migration:
- Adding large amounts of content to the source accounts (5GB+ daily)
- Deleting content
- Moving content
- Changing folder structures
All changes made by users during the migration will be additionally copied at the end of the migration process.
